Thanks for your interest in Pocket Money Ventures, Inc., (“Pocket Money”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). We take your privacy seriously and want to make sure you're fully informed about how you can control your personal information.
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect, use and share information associated with you or that can be used to identify you (“Personal Information”) when you use our website, mypocket.money (the “Website”) or our app, Pocket (the “App”, and collectively with the Website, the “Service”). This Policy does not cover things that aren't considered “Personal Information” under the law, such as aggregated or anonymized data. Where the law allows, it also doesn't apply to de-identified information, meaning data that can't be linked to an individual.
By using Pocket Money, you expressly consent to our collection, use, disclosure and retention of your Personal information as described in this Policy.
When you open an account with Pocket Money, we may collect the following information from you:
Identification Information: your legal name, physical address, country of citizenship/residence, date of birth, and government issued identity number. This data is required to be collected to verify your identity in compliance with local laws.
Account Information: text-enabled mobile phone number, machine or mobile device ID and other similar information. Your mobile number is collected in order to send one-time passwords (OTPs) and verification codes to authenticate your identity during account registration, login, and other security-sensitive actions within our mobile application.
Device Information: information about you from your mobile device or computer including your device type, machine or mobile device identification number, geolocation data, time zone, language setting, browser type, and IP address. This information is collected about your mobile device in order to minimize fraudulent activity and account take-over risk.
Financial Information: bank account and routing numbers. This information is collected to process payments you instruct from the mobile application.
Geolocation: information that can pinpoint your location with reasonable accuracy such as longitude and latitude coordinates obtained through your IP address or device triangulation. This data is gathered for fraud detection, risk management, and to ensure that individuals are not accessing our services from sanctioned jurisdictions.
Information submitted when you communicate with us: email correspondence with us, your response to surveys, and chat conversation with us. We retain this information to provide you with customer service support and to comply with local laws.
We may collect information through your activity on the Service, such as transaction details when you send or receive money, and technical data from your device, like your Unique Device ID and device name, when using the App. We may also collect data related to your location and operating system, primarily for fraud prevention and similar purposes. To support a safe and seamless experience, we may request additional information to verify your identity, address, or other relevant details, particularly to meet legal requirements and manage risk and compliance throughout your relationship with Pocket Money.
In addition to information you provide or generate through your use of our Services, we may gather information from third parties such as identity verification services, fraud prevention tools, internet and service providers, merchants, credit reporting agencies, and financial institutions. We may also collect information automatically when you visit our Website or engage with our emails and ads, using tools like cookies, web beacons, pixels, server logs, and similar technologies to understand usage, improve performance, and measure engagement.
When you use the Service, we collect, use, and disclose Personal Information for a range of business purposes, including providing Services to you, customer support, transactions processing, verifying your identity, and resolving transaction-related issues. We also use your data to detect, prevent, and protect against security incidents, fraud, and illegal activities, as well as to enforce our terms and conditions and debug or improve functionality. Where appropriate, we may aggregate or de-identify Personal Information so it can no longer identify you; once de-identified, it is no longer considered Personal Information and we will not attempt to re-identify this information, unless required by applicable law.
We may also use your Personal Information for internal operations, such as maintaining and improving our services, conducting research and development, complying with legal or regulatory requirements, and verifying your identity and any updates to your information to ensure a secure and personalized experience.
We may disclose your Personal Information to certain third parties to support the business purposes described above. We also share information when required by law, for example in response to a valid legal request such as a subpoena, court order, or similar process, from law enforcement, government agencies, and other authorized third parties. We may disclose information as needed to prevent physical harm or financial loss, report suspected illegal or suspicious activity, or as otherwise required by law. We may also share or transfer your Personal Information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of the company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or part of our business by another company.
With your consent, we may also share your Personal Information for other purposes. Lastly, we may share your information with third-party service providers, vendors, consultants, and trusted business partners who help us deliver our Services or support functions like fraud detection, regulatory compliance, and security.
Pocket Money does not sell your personal information to third parties for their promotional or marketing purposes. For the purpose of this Policy, “sale” refers to the disclosure of Personal Information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration.
We will keep Personal Information only as long as needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy. In some cases, we will retain and use Personal Information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
Our Service is not designed for children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly create accounts or collect personal information from minors. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a minor, we will promptly delete it. California Consumer Privacy Act Notice
If your Pocket Money account has a California mailing address, we will
not share personal information we collect about you except to the extent
permitted under California law. Under the California Consumer Privacy
Act (CCPA), we are required to provide you with information about how we
use each category of personal information, including sensitive personal
information, that we collect from you. We must also let you know which
categories of third parties we may disclose this information to for a
business purpose, whether we share personal information for
cross-context behavioral advertising, or whether we sell personal
information in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration.
These provisions do not apply to personal information collected,
processed, shared, or disclosed by financial institutions pursuant to
federal law such as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. This notice should be
read together with Pocket Money's full Privacy Policy. It applies to all
California residents who use our services or visit our websites.
California law defines "sharing" as using your personal information to show you targeted ads based on your activity across different websites. "Selling" means providing your personal information to third parties in exchange for money or other valuable benefits. We want you to know that we do not sell or share your personal information, including any sensitive personal information.This includes any personal information related to individuals under the age of 16.
As a California resident, you have the right to request access to certain personal information we've collected about you in the past 12 months. You also have the right to request that we correct any personal information we have about you. Additionally, you can choose to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, request that we limit how we use or disclose your sensitive personal information, or ask us to delete your personal information altogether, subject to specific legal exceptions. We will not treat you unfairly or discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights under the CCPA.
If you or someone authorized to act on your behalf makes a request, we will first need to verify your identity before proceeding. If we cannot verify your identity, we won't be able to fulfill your request. If your request is denied in part or in full, you may have the right to appeal, and we'll provide instructions for doing so.
The Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser setting that communicates your preferences about whether your personal information should be sold or shared. Because we do not sell or share your personal information, Pocket Money does not respond to this setting.

You can request access, correction, updates or deletion of your Personal Information by sending a request via email at privacy@mypocket.money. However, please keep in mind that there may be situations where we're unable to delete your information, such as when we have a legal obligation or another valid reason to keep it.
You can object to our processing of your Personal Information, ask us to restrict processing of your Personal Information or request portability of your Personal Information. However, this may restrict or limit your use of the Services.
If we have collected and processed your Personal Information with your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your Personal Information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent (for example when we are required to verify your identity in order to offer the Services).
You have the right to complain to a data protection authority about our collection and use of your Personal Information.
To help protect your Personal Information, we use a variety of technical, physical, and administrative security measures. These safeguards are in place to protect against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration of your data.
It's important for you to keep your Personal Information, complete, accurate and secure. Make sure your passwords, phone number, mobile device, and profile registration details are kept safe and not shared with third parties.
We may process your information, including Personal Information, at our offices or in other locations where the parties involved are based. This means your data could be transferred to and stored in places outside your state or country, where privacy laws may be different from those in your area.
By using our Services and sharing your information, you agree to this transfer. Rest assured, we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will only transfer it where appropriate safeguards and security measures are in place, in line with this Policy.
We may update this Policy from time to time at our discretion. If there are significant changes in how we handle your personal information, we'll let you know by sending a notice in the Services or to the primary email address associated with your Pocket Money account and/or posting a prominent notice in the App or on our Website. It's your responsibility to review this Policy periodically. When we make updates, we'll also update the "last modified" date.

We use SMS text messaging to send one-time passwords (OTPs) and verification codes to authenticate your identity during account registration, login, and other security-sensitive actions within our mobile application. By providing your mobile phone number you expressly consent (opt-in) to receive automated SMS messages from us for authentication and security purposes. This consent is not a condition of purchase or use of our services.
You do not need to consent to SMS alerts to use our basic service. If you decline SMS, we will send any important security notices by email or (enter in your solution here ). To opt out of SMS alerts, please see the Opt-Out Rights section below.
We collect and store your mobile phone number solely for the purpose of delivering authentication and security messages. We do not use your phone number for marketing purposes or share it with third parties for promotional activities. We use third party SMS service providers to deliver messages. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for message delivery purposes.

Opting out of SMS verification will limit your ability to access ALL features of our mobile application. You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message or contacting support.

Our SMS service works with major U.S. carriers. If you experience delivery issues, please contact support.
